The Gertrude and David Fogelson Lecture
Hear from collection artist Jim Dine (b. 1935, Cincinnati, Ohio), on his works included in the exhibition New York: 1962-1964 and beyond in this conversation with exhibition team member Sam Sackeroff. Dine played a key role in creating the first “Happenings” and was closely associated with the Pop Art movement, yet his work defies easy categorization. Throughout his long career, Dine’s vast and varied output has included paintings, assemblages, sculptures, drawings, prints, and over twelve books of poetry.
